The High School of Excellence students not interested in Madrid

The proposal of the President of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, to create a school of excellence which would accommodate only the best students from Madrid , seems to have permeated deeply to say among the kids.
Only 10% of students who have submitted proof of special secondary prizes have been asked to join this initiative .
Of the 2278 students who were submitted to this test, have applied for a place at the Instituto San Mateo, chosen to launch the so-called school of excellence, 210 and only the top 25 ratings have guaranteed access to the new type of high school .
Since the Madrid see the glass half full instead of half empty, and that indicate that there are only 100 seats available for this first year of the special school, so they have applied for twice as many students will eventually be admitted. What’s also been quick to clarify is that all have a place in their respective institutes and nobody is going to run out if not allowed to study in San Mateo.
Of the students who have shown interest in participating in the school of excellence , most are of Sciences and more than 50% of Madrid. With these initial data, the composition of the school for next year could be three groups of Science and Technology, plus a group of Humanities and Social Sciences .
Anyway, as in any other institute, the first day of next September will be open enrollment period for any student who is encouraged to study the new high school in San Mateo IES.
Special case are the teachers. Now there are some twenty applications and Madrid have to make a choice for which, among other things, shall, in addition to the curriculum, academic record and also if they have prepared students for any specific competition knowledge.
