Job placement of 600,000 young people without education

The group of unemployed unskilled is one of the greatest concern to the Executive, as may look out of a possible labor market recovery.

Therefore, the government intends to prepare a plan for that 600,000 young uneducated (12% of them unemployed at present) are inserted into our labor market.

The idea is offer training programs for unemployed to acquire some skills to help them find a job. To achieve this, the Ministry of Labour for some kind of stimulus that can encourage youth to participate in these programs. Shuffle two ways to encourage candidates: one would give a small fee to join the program and the other would be the intensive training.

The compensation seems more than discarded. The serious economic problems facing the country, the crusade in which you put the Government to reduce the deficit, the severe budgetary imbalances of the Autonomous Communities … make a game be impractical to allocate funding so the project. As for intensive training, Speaks of a minimum of 400 hours per year or equivalent for shorter periods.

The objective is also to train this group to increase their chances for a possible job draw the greatest number of these young of the unemployment rolls. Not being willing to accept employment, public services do not consider unemployment duration of the program. With an unemployment rate bordering on 21% of the population and almost five million unemployed, anything that will bring down those numbers would be interesting (we’ll have elections).

The government, still trying to get the support of unions and employers, is also pending renewal of the program prepares (400 euros to help people involved in training programs).

Also wants to pass a new regulation of part-time contract to increase social protection and flexible working hours for permanent contracts, as well as attempt to make any temporary contract can become cheaper indefinite layoff (33 days per year).
